Redesigned!!

Thats right. We have redesigned Tubri’s interface to make it better in navigating, better in socializing and better in visuals.

Earlier navigation of one page at a time is gone now, Tubri now loads content in background (lots of ajax stuff) without any need for a page load. This makes Tubri faster to respond, and improves user experience greatly.

Another highlight is improving the interface for socializing. We now have a larger sidebar, which shows the most recent activity right at the top which makes it easier to know whats new for me right now. Also, we have grouped: Activities, Labels, Whiteboard and Messages in one group for quick access.

And third highlight is visuals for sure. We wanted to make Tubri look like way better in this redesign effort and it shows. There are backgrounds and colors to customize and lot more eye-candy. Go check it out.

There are several improvements and each of them need a post of its own. So stay tuned for more updates.

Custom backgrounds and colors

Now you can set your own wallpapers or photos as the background in Tubri. It also provides you some ready-made colors to choose from. Soon the option to set transparency would also be added.

Games anyone?

This has been a popular request since the launch of Tubri. People like to enjoy by playing games in their chosen social network. So we have listened to you guys and added several fun games including: Chess, Pong, Tic-Tac-Toe, Snakes, Puzzles and more.

We’ll be adding lot more games and even plan to develop some big games of our own.

Groups in Tubri

Now you can create groups in Tubri. You can add members in this group and they will receive invitations to join the group. Once accepted, members would be able to see each other and each other’s posts.

This differs from the main concept of Tubri which is: Labels. A label is private to you and it helps you separate people and socialize with them separately based on your actual relation with them.

Introducing eTubri – Making sharing easier

eTubri is a browser extension which lets you share photos/videos/webpages or links from any website you are browsing with anyone. It keeps you connected to your Tubri people all the time so you receive up-to-date notifications from Tubri regardless of the site you are on.

It can also be used as a way to collect photos from other sites and adding them directly in your Tubri albums.

eTubri makes sharing a lot easier by allowing you to right click on the photo/webpage/link you like.

A New Homepage!

We have made some big changes in Tubri’s homepage. Now its better looking and explaining the concept of Tubri better. There are also lots of other improvements which will get explained in later blog posts.

Social Profile

Everyone has a unique identity socially. To let people express themselves and develop their social identities, we have launched Social Profiles.

Its a public webpage where you can showcase your profile, photos, videos, blog posts, tweets and more. You can also set a custom background image to express yourself better. Anyone can view your social profile without even signing up in Tubri.

Several quiet improvements

This is a routine update including some improvements, polishing, tweaking and bug fixing.

Now you can suggest apps which you like to see in Tubri. Just go to App Store in Tubri and choose from the options or tell us your own.
Every profile which is connected with you, shows the relation between you both.
New & sharp icons on the navigation bar.
Nice pagination buttons when searching for people.
People search filter is not shown by default now.
Some layout fixes & some bug fixes.

Tubri Mobile Site

Tubri is now available as a mobile friendly website. If you can access Internet from your mobile, you would be able to use Tubri mobile site also. Just point your phone’s browser at m.tubri.com and check out the new Tubri mobile site.
